Enjoy the Drama of Hollywood with Satellite Television

The drama of Hollywood is always a side story to supplement the actual films. Since the Golden Age Hollywood has captured our attention with scandals, murders, drugs, sex and crime that is almost as entertaining as the movies produced. The main reason so many people want to become actors is to join in on the rollercoaster ride life that is where movies are made. Movies and shows have been made about these scandals that we just can't seem to get enough of. With satellite television you can enjoy the best of the movies and reality programs that give you a better look of the famous people we hate to love.

Since the beginning Hollywood has been a cesspool of sex, drugs and rock n' roll. Maybe it's the disposable income concept that is the root of all evil. Whatever it is, there has been plenty of it going around Tinsel town since the popularity of cinema became widely available and caught on. On-screen and off-screen romances developed as they always do, and large audiences loved to see them begin and in most cases crumble to the ground. Although there is clearly a pretty side to the story, it seems that in Hollywood cases they overwhelmingly aren't child-appropriate. Drugs and partying quickly became tied in to the picture and to this day continue in each generation of actors. It seems at least once a year we lose one beloved actor to an overdose.

Child actors seem the most likely to develop problems as they mature into adulthood. There are entire segments about child stars that grew up with serious addiction problems. Starting at a young age they are thrown into a world of corruption and drugs where saying "no" isn't expected and certainly not a common response. Examples such as Drew Barrymore, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan show us that being raised in the spotlight may not be the healthiest of environments for maturing adults.

These modern women of Hollywood are very much like past generations, although the privacy was surely secured a little better back then. Now the paparazzi seem to get everything on camera before your agent can cover up your tracks. Hollywood certainly doesn't seem as glamorous when you know all the dirty ins and outs of the business. Scientologists, anti-Semites and pre-paid weddings seem to be the usual plunders in the movie capital of the world. Celebrities look more and more like strange and eccentric human beings than the all-powerful creatures they used to be made out to be.

With satellite television you can enjoy watching series, special episodes and actual movies of all the celebrities we are constantly hearing about. Sometimes we know a little too much about their personal lives, but I suppose that's a decision you make when you decide to become a celebrity. When you have more options of what to watch you'll ultimately be able to enjoy the product more. Now it's easy to have celebrities around all the time!
