Sourabh. And I don't like it. Costs more, no matter the rsoaen means I needed to shop around. You say that as though it's a forgone conclusion, the same 2 plus 2 = 4. Comcast sets prices, it's not something they dig up from the fossil record and make known.I am not interested in promotions. Short term lower prices in the hopes that I will either forget or become hooked on a service aren't doing me any favors. And it's not an inconvenience, it's business. Comcast has to charge what they need to make money, and what the market will bear. It doesn't mean I have to like paying it. Unfortunately, since we still basically have a monopoly on phone, and television, Comcast has an unfair advantage over customers. So I am choosing to live without the service.I already looked at DSL, and I am going to cancel my cable and go with a DSL only option. I am sure that I will be paying more than is necessary for DSL, but it's still less than Comcast.I hadn't mentioned this, but this is something I have been on the fence about for a couple of months, and then yesterday I got a letter telling me that prices are going up. Sorry, this particular market of one, can't bear that.Market forces. They're a bitch.
