Try a WMV 11 or something, you can remain the HD 720 format =D. But then the render phase takes longer. Personally i upload my HD files in mt2 format, wich also takes hours per minute to upload. So it's kind of a dilemma: short render, long upload, or long render, short upload, lol!

Ich bin soweit damit sehr zufrieden: + Die Bildqualit t, besonders der DVB-C-HD-Kan le ist toll. Kein Vergleich zu meiner vorherigen R hre. Ich benutze den Fernseher in erster Linie zum Fernsehen und nicht als BluRay-Zuspieler usw. Hierf r reicht meines Erachtens ein HD-Ready Ger t aus, da zumindest die frei empfangbaren HD-Kan le im Kabel (ARD, ZDF und ARTE) sowieso nur in 720p-Aufl sung (also der HD-ready Aufl sung) senden. Ich sehe auch keinerlei Ruckeln oder sonstiges bei Fussballspielen oder wof r man sonst 100/200/400Hz Technik braucht (die dieses Ger t nicht hat). Aber ich habe es auch nicht gross mit anderen Ger ten verglichen. Der einzige Nachteil ist dass einem jetzt die schlechte Qualit t der Analogkan le doch sehr auff llt + Ein wirklich tolles Feature ist der USB-Mediaplayer. Der spielt so ziemlich jedes Format von einer an den USB-Anschluss gesteckten Festplatte oder Stick ab, inkl. HD-Videos. Wirklich eine tolle Sache f r Videos, Fotos usw. Was ich pers nlich weniger mag: - Das Ger t bietet eine Vielzahl an Funktionen, aber die bersicht und Bedienung leidet darunter etwas. Besonders nervt mich dass der Fernseher scheinbar strikt nach Digital- und Analog-Kan len trennt. Man muss quasi immer erst auf die Analogkan le umschalten wenn man gerade ein Digitalprogramm schaut und umgekehrt. Man kann die Kan le nicht mischen. Ich w rde z.B. die Digitalkan le gerne da wo m glich haben und dazwischen die Analogkan le f r die ich kein Digital-Pendant habe, also z.B. 1 ARD HD, 2 ZDF HD, 3 WDR digital, 4 RTL analog,5 Sat1 analog usw. Ich will meinem Kabelbetreiber halt nicht jeden Monat noch zus tzlich Geld f r digitale (werbefinanzierte!) Privatkan le in den Rachen werfen Durchzappen der Kan le geht also nur sehr umst ndlich und auch nicht in einer komlett selbst festgelegten Reihenfolge. - Auch das Sortieren innerhalb einer Empfangsart nach erfolgtem automatischen Suchlauf ist sehr bl d gel st. Man muss sich durch zich Untermen s hangeln. Zu allem bel heisst die Funktion bei digitalen und analogen Kan len auch noch unterschiedlich ( Kanalnr. bearbeiten bei digital und Sortieren bei analog ) Auch sind die Sender nach dem automatischen Suchlauf nicht gerade logisch sortiert PRO7 (sieben, Samsung, SIEBEN!) lag bei mir auf Analogprogramm 23 Zwischen die frei empfangbaren Digitalkan le werden die ganzen verschl sselten Digitalkan le sortiert. Warum kann der Fernseher wenn er schon merkt dass die verschl sselt sind die nicht geschlossen nacht hinten sortieren!? So ist man fast gezwungen ist sich mit der manuellen Sortierung auseinander zu setzen meine 8 Jahre alte Philips-R hre konnte das definitv besser - Auch scheint man bei Samsung mit einigen Begriffen ins Schleudern gekommen zu sein: im Men TV-Empfang kann man zwischen Terrestrisch und Kabel umschalten. Man schaltet dort aber effektiv zwischen ANALOG(=Terrestrisch) und DIGITAL(=Kabel) um! Das ist verwirrend weil der Fernseher neben dem DVB-C auch einen DVB-T -Empf nger eingebaut hat was ja eigentlich Kabel und Terrestrisch entsprechen sollte. Bei mir ist die Kiste aber *definitiv* nur an das Kabel angeschlossen. Und wie gesagt unter Terrestrisch finde ich bei mir die *analogen* *Kabel*programme schon etwas peinlich dass ein grosser Fernsehhersteller nicht in der Lage ist solche Sachen richtig zu benennen So, genug geschimpft. Wie gesagt gef llt mir das Ger t trotz der Macken gut. Ich m chte aber technisch weniger versierte warnen sich bei der Installation helfen zu lassen. Sonst kommt wegen der Bedienung und initialen Kanalsortierung schnell Frust auf. Einmal eingerichtet geht es dann aber. Und dann kann man dieses Ger t wirklich geniessen! You can also buy points of the wii shop channel but u need to connect the wii to youre internet. when you connect to the internet you can use the shop channel and thats where you buy points and the internet channel. So make sure u keep the slips you get in games so you can get free wii points this way or just buy them on wii shop cahnnel hope this helps! x

I got this media player eheewlsre locally, before Amazon dropped their price. Anyway, the GUI is fine. It's easily navigable, not cluttered at all, presented in a beautiful package, and certainly easy to read. All pluses there. The first videos I attempted to play were 720p mkv files over wireless network (on a 1TB HDD connected to my computer in the basement via USB). After taking a few seconds to gather the first few pictures from the USB > wireless connected storage device, the WDTV Live streamed the videos seamlessly! I even paused one for like 8 minutes while making dinner, and it resumed with no noticeable glitches, artifacts, or rendering/buffering. The second (and only other) file type I attempted to play was a 1080p TS file I had recorded from my cable box. This took a little bit longer between hitting play and seeing video on the screen, but time was minimal. I want to say no more than 4 or 5 seconds. Again, it had to pull the video from the HDD to the computer via USB, and then again from the computer to the media player over the wireless G network. This video also played flawlessly! No artifacting, no rendering/buffering/, no audio sync issues or dropped frames. It plays video from hella far away on the network beautifully, and resumes from pause just as well! I only have 2 cons listed below:-The out-of-box immediate software update took EONS! I was waiting for the newest firmware to download for almost 30 minutes. -The remote control has highly raised rubber buttons that cannot be pressed in fast succession, or must be pressed a little bit harder in order to get signal sent. It's annoying, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. (Also, on this note, there are privately developed remote control apps for both Android and iOS in their respective app stores which may be an alternative for myself or some of you)In conclusion, the new interface is exactly what I was expecting (if not better) after seeing last years release of the GUI on the hub. This player plays absolutely everything! It even plays items from peripherals on computers 2 floors down in my house wirelessly with very little wait time or visible effort. The price point is fantastic, and the product does not disappoint.

Hi Dannyjaar,Unfortunately no. There are four major DTV standards DVB, ATSC, ISDB and DMB. DMB and DVB seem to get along with each other fine but ATSC and ISDB apaepr to need their own equipment. There are also different compressions used within DVB.
